As a Collection Customer Support rep, you will offer a variety of innovative products and solutions, allowing both residential and business customers to choose options that best meet their needs, including exceptional customer service, competitively priced electricity service plans, innovative energy efficiency options, renewable energy programs, and other electricity-related products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review, analyze, and respond to customer billing inquiries

  • Upsell eligible customers' home warranty solutions

  • Resolve customer issues or questions

  • Processing payment deferrals and installment plans

  • Attempt to save customers who may be moving, unhappy with the plan or current rate

  • Quickly identify customer needs in the first few minutes of the call to offer the appropriate plan

  • Accurately enroll the customer in the correct plan

  • Strive to resolve the customer issues on the first call

 

 

Requirements and Skills​

  • High school diploma/GED

  • Microsoft Software

Pay Range

$11.50 Hourly​

​

 

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation-related information.  For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business needs, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, AK provides a variety of benefits to employees (varies depending on contractors) including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation or sick time. Individuals placed in the position as a contractor, are still eligible for incentives and a small range of benefits.
